Salome considers the patient’s history, visible findings and telehealth limitations before deciding how to proceed.
What to prepare
No payment is taken at booking; the visit fee is reviewed with you before your appointment. Laboratory, imaging or other services may cost extra. Bring information about allergies, other conditions and your preferred local pharmacy.
When not to wait for video care
This site does not publish an Iowa self-pay fee until the practice verifies the schedule. If this is an emergency, call 911.
Next steps after the consultation
After clinical evaluation, the plan may include self-care counseling, follow-up, a referral, a local examination or testing. Any treatment or prescription depends on clinical judgment and applicable law.
Questions Iowa patients ask before booking
Straight answers to common concerns. A video visit may help determine the right next step, but it cannot replace every examination or test.
Can I book an Iowa video visit without insurance?
Yes. The booking system does not take payment at the time of scheduling. Ask the practice about the visit fee and payment arrangements before the appointment.
Does no payment to book mean the visit is free?
No. No payment at booking does not mean the clinical visit is free. Confirm fees before care.
Will lab tests or prescriptions cost extra?
They may. Outside laboratory, pharmacy and referral costs are separate unless the practice specifically confirms otherwise.
Ready to discuss your concern?
Video visits are available daily, 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Central (Iowa) time. Booking takes about two minutes, and no payment is taken when you book.
