Salome considers the patient’s history, visible findings and telehealth limitations before deciding how to proceed.
What to prepare
Describe injury mechanism, leg pain, weakness, prior problems and medication trials. Bring information about allergies, other conditions and your preferred local pharmacy.
When not to wait for video care
Loss of bladder or bowel control, progressive leg weakness or major trauma warrants urgent evaluation. If this is an emergency, call 911.
Next steps after the consultation
After clinical evaluation, the plan may include self-care counseling, follow-up, a referral, a local examination or testing. Any treatment or prescription depends on clinical judgment and applicable law.
